BHR Web Site Security Changes

Hello fellow Blackhawk Ranch property owners,

In the near future, we will be making security changes to the web site to provide better security for BHR POA private information. The areas with the new security include the pages under Owner Resources, i.e. property owner database, financial records, meeting minutes, etc. The changes will not impact the general public parts of the web site.

Effective Nov 14th, 2023 these areas will be restricted to account holders of the BHR POA web site instead of the single password method we currently use. To become an account holder, you must have a BHR web site account. We have already created web site accounts for current property owners based on the primary email address we have one file. But there is a chance we missed someone. Please use the following step-by-step instructions to set up a password or create a new account.

Instructions

1. Visit blackhawkranch.org and click the Log In button on the top right part of the screen.

2. Password Reset. Click on forgot password

3. Enter the email address that you have listed in the BHR POA owner list and press the reset password button. You will receive an email with further instructions on how to create a new password. Once your password is setup, click the "Log In" button as pictured in step 1 and you will be able to access BHR POA private content.

4. If you receive an error indicating “This email doesn't match any account. Try again.”, click the “X” in the upper right part of the screen and repeat step 1 by pressing the "Log In" button on the top right part of the screen. Then create an account starting in step 5.

5. Create an Account. Click on “Sign Up”

6. Complete the form and press submit. If you do not enter all of the information you will receive an error. Once you press submit you will be sent to a captcha screen to ensure you are not a robot. Follow the instructions and click verify. You will receive and notice on screen that your signup request is awaiting approval. Once the webmaster approves your request, you will be able to access BHR POA private content by logging in as indicated in step 1.
