Dues Payment Methods

Options for payment of BHR Annual Dues:

1) Write a check and mail it -- This is the least complex. The mailing address for your payment is on the invoice. 2) Bill Pay through your bank -- Most of us on the BHR have bank accounts where you can request your bank to send a check to anyone requiring payment. This is usually free of charge depending upon where you bank. This is how many on the BHR choose to pay their dues. You will need to provide your bank with the name to whom the check should be made out, the address to which the check should be mailed, and the amount of the check to be cut. All of this information is contained on the payment stub at the bottom of the BHR annual dues invoice you received.

3) ACH Payment (ACH=Automated Clearing House) -- This is a method that can be used when you expect recurring charges from a specific vendor (e.g. PMI) weekly, monthly or yearly. In this case you would need to contact PMI directly to set up an ACH for you to automatically pay your annual dues each year. This would involve allowing PMI to deduct your annual dues directly out of the account you specify each year on a specific date (e.g. date of your choice in January). This is more involved and once established, you would have to cancel the ACH if you do not want to continue to pay your POA dues in this manner. Depending upon who you are trying to pay via this method, there may be a charge for paying this way, but most providers do not charge for this method of payment.

4) Credit Card -- You could pay by credit or debit card, but in the case of PMI, that would trigger a significant surcharge in addition to the dues. We would recommend against this method simply because of the excessive surcharge.

5) Cash -- Cash should never be sent through the mail. You would have to hand deliver it to the Colorado Springs mailing address on the invoice.
