The National Weather Service has announced that Critical Fire Weather conditions are expected tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday, March 25, over the San Luis valley and the eastern plains.
*** Wind gusts are expected up to 45 miles per hour.
*** Avoid all activities that involve flames or could cause a spark.
*** If a fire starts, rapid growth is expected.
*** There is a Fire Weather Watch for Thursday, March 26, afternoon as well.
