BHR Texting

The Blackhawk Ranch POA is excited to announce a text messaging service for use during urgent and emergency situations.  The service will be used to notify property owners of situations impacting Blackhawk Ranch such as:

• Wildfire incidents

• Wildfire warnings

• Evacuation notices

• Downed powerline

• Unplanned road closures

• Road closures due to excessive snow

The capability uses a messaging service to ensure the best possible reception as low as one bar when no data or WIFI is available.  It does not require the installation of additional software on your cell phone and is free to BHR POA property owners. The service is limited to two phone numbers per property owner and the numbers must match BHR POA records.  Texting is one way, so please do not reply to messages.

Fire mitigation Cancelled

The fire mitigation schedule for April 18th and 19th has been cancelled due to inclement weather. This mitigation event will be rescheduled for a future date.

BHR Connect May 17

The next BHR Connect has been scheduled. Dan Ebie will be hosting.

What: Every quarter, a discussion will be led by a POA member (we will alternate member leaders each meeting) to hear thoughts, concerns, ideas from POA members that come to the meeting. Each meeting will have some Board and/committee members as guests, to help answer certain questions that may arise.

When: Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 10am

Where: The BHR Connect will be at the Stokehouse at the Walsenburg Mercantile
